I met Ella’s parents way back in August for their maternity session.  I love love love photographing an expecting couple – and then coming back for their in home newborn session!! This couple had some really amazing and meaningful locations for both sessions.  Their maternity session took place on Kate’s parents property – and we started at the spot where they were married.  The place where their family story began, we documented as their prepared to welcome their newest little love into their lives.  Not only was the spot spectacular, but we might have just had the most spectacular sunset that evening as well.  it was perfection… as was kate and kevin as anticipated the upcoming arrival of a little person who would change their world in the most amazing way.

ella finally decided to make her appearance just a few days late – but oh goodness was she worth it!  the sweetest little lady, who was awake literally for our ENTIRE session, but it didnt even matter!  She had all the heart eyes for her mama and daddy.  In their family home, on probably the rainiest day we had this entire fall, I had the pleasure of capturing this family – authentically in their own space.  it was one of the most comfortable sessions I’ve had… and once again – Kate’s parents sent me home with a dozen eggs which made the day even more amazing!
