This family has a special place in my heart.  I love newborn sessions, capturing the perfect first moments of life at home with a new baby.  I especially love it when the subjects are some of my very good friends!  Melissa and I have worked together in pediatrics for quite a few years, we started our families within the same year and also happen to live down the street from each other!!! It has been so fun watching our babies turn into toddlers and now preschoolers.  Little miss Maura is the third baby in their family and she is a perfect one at that.  She was such a sweet little baby for our home newborn session – while her big sis and bro ran around she snoozed on the couch beautifully.

Miss Maura is the perfect addition to this family and I cant wait to see her personality develop along with her sweet big sister and energetic big brother!  I am so happy to have been able to capture so many special moments for my friends, and look forward to sharing many more with them as our kiddos continue to grow up as neighbors!  Hope you enjoy some highlights from Maura’s newborn shoot – leave them some love in the comments!!

ryan has a picture of all three kiddos in this family tartan.  the cloth was actually woven in Ireland and made into a kilt by someone in the US.  the cloth used to wrap his babies is leftover from the kilt.  such a unique prop to add to their session with SUCH family history!!
