you may remember seeing Carrie and Kevin’s maternity portraits a few weeks ago – on the most perfectly snowy afternoon…. and less than a month after we had their maternity session I was back photographing their new little love Brody!!!

Every time I arrive at a newborn session I have to squeeze in a little snuggle with the baby… I just can’t resist!! Luckily – Carrie had a couple things she wanted to do before we started so I got a few minutes in with Mr. Brody.  With the cutest little lips and fuzzy head of hair I just couldn’t get enough!

He definitely enjoyed snuggling with his parents more than laying by himself on a bed (but lets be realistic.. who doesn’t enjoy snuggling with their babes more than being alone!!!), but we still managed to grab a few shots of him swaddled up.  Babies on big beds are my most favorite thing to capture – they look so teeny, and the beds look so huge… and its crazy how fast they grow up and take over more than half the bed like my oldest does!!!!

Brody’s room has some of the most awesome details, like an amazing painting of a rhinoceros and lots cute stuffed animals.  I love the neutrality of his nursery and especially the giant giraffe next to his crib!
