it’s not every day that i have the pleasure of photographing my childhood best friend, her family, and their newest addition.  mr patrick joined the family back in may (i know i know i’m a little behind on blogging!!) and shocked everyone with his super dark hair!!  his big sister seems to be pretty smitten with him – though she was a little hesitant in front of my camera at first!  luckily once we started reading stories, snuggling on the bed and singing songs all fears were forgotten.  big sis kept us all laughing with her favorite renditions while everyone snuggled on the bed.  newborn sessions are so fun – the sweet little baby just getting loved on by everyone… these moments are so fleeting and i love to preserve them to last forever through printed photographs.  mr patrick will only be this little for so much longer – just look at his big sis who i photographed just about two years ago!!!  enjoy some highlights from our session 🙂

 

oh my goodness i just melt for an open eye newborn photo.  and he was just a dream. so calm, cool and collected.. maybe this is a hint of what his personality will be like!!!
