this sweet little guy made his parents wait almost 2 weeks after his due date to meet him!  once he arrived he was welcomed into their home and fit seamlessly into their adorable family.  he was WIDE AWAKE for literally our entire session – but was the calmest awake baby i think i’ve ever photographed!!

there is something so special to me about in home newborn sessions.  to be able to document a family’s story in the home they bring their little one home to – to be able to create a family heirloom they can pass on through generations, to remind them of the feelings of these exact moments.  flipping through a photo album remembering how soft their skin was, what their hair smelled like and how small they were to fit into the nook of your elbow – thats what i love about a portrait session.  these moments – they fly by.. and we miss them before we know it.. creating something magical to bring you back to those moments is the absolute best part of my job.  enjoy some highlights from baby ross’s in home lifestyle newborn session.
