i had the absolute honor to do some portraits of this family.  not only is this mama one of my very best friends, but she is an awesome wife, and a super fun mom to her two crazy kiddos.  we get to spend lots of time with these guys – and its been amazing watching them grow up right next to my kids.  i know that we have lots more in store for us as these boys start the next stevens-kirkham lifetime friendship just like their dads and uncles.  we trekked around their property a little bit on a slightly overcast day that turned into a brilliantly sunlit evening.  they showed me their creek (which in MANY years of them living here i’ve never seen before!!!!) and we even spent some time checking out the moon which showed up early!  there is nothing i love more than capturing beautiful family moments – as moms we know that life with toddlers and preschoolers is far from perfect, but that doesn’t make it any less beautiful… and amazing.  enjoy some of my favorites from a spectacular session with some of my favorite people <3

theres nothing quite like snuggles with mama… and as moms we rarely get to see ourselves like this.  beautiful smile, pure happiness, and content babies.  what could be better?
